Wood Centerpiece for the kitchen or dining room table

I just finished off a very nice large wood centerpiece that would be great for a kitchen or dining room table. It could also be used as a large salad bowl as well.
The type of wood I used was from a fallen Butternut tree that was here in Ontario.
I used no stains on this bowl as I always like to show the true color of the wood and also the growth rings, In my opinion it makes it that more interesting.
I do work with other woods,knots and burls from other countries but I'm now discovering that my favorite wooden creations are local here in Ontario, Canada.
